After years of military dictature in Brazil, the Brazilian productor Roberto Médina create in 1985 the festival Rock in Rio in order to use the musique as a Brazilian culture’s promotion all around the world… As this, a lot of international music celebrities as Paul Mc Cartney or the band Queen came for the first time to play in SOuth America.
Then, Rock in Rio became one of the most important music festival in the world. With a 15000 m2 surface, it hosts 85000 spectators each day coming to see one of the hundred of groups , singers and DJ.
The next edition ( between September the 15th and September the 27th) promit yet to be spectacular with an impressive programmation ( Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Guns n’roses , The Who, Red hot chili peppers ).
